“The doctor’s Oath or Hippocrates is nothing like his oath
the first time he tries to find his way through this Station Hospital. On the
average 10 visitors a month become confused in the corridors, take the wrong
turn and aren’t seen for months. Little baskets of food and bottles of water
are placed in the corridors every quarter mile and so far no lives have been
lost. To get from the main entrance to the eye-clinic requires an over-night bivouac
and few undertake the journey without a full field pack and compass.” (Source –
